Terms of use
These terms govern your use of Laalkhata. Please read them before you use the platform.
Last updated: 19 July 2026
1. Who we are
Laalkhata is a loan comparison and eligibility platform, registered under the Udyam scheme as a Lending Service Provider (LSP). Laalkhata is not a bank, a lender, or a non-banking financial company (NBFC), and does not itself sanction, disburse, or collect any loan.
2. Eligibility to use Laalkhata
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of India to use Laalkhata. By using the platform, you confirm that this is true.
3. How offers are sourced
Laalkhata sources the offers shown to you through its verified lending partner network. Laalkhata matches the information you provide against each partner’s published criteria to show you offers you appear eligible for.
The respective lending partner, not Laalkhata, solely determines the final loan terms, approval decision, and disbursal timeline once you proceed with their process.
4. No guarantee of approval
Showing you an eligible offer is not a guarantee that a lending partner will approve your application or offer you the exact terms displayed. The partner independently assesses every application, and the partner’s decision is final.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current information when using Laalkhata.
- Not submit fraudulent applications, or provide details that are not your own.
- Use Laalkhata only for its intended purpose — checking eligibility and comparing loan offers.
Providing false information may affect your eligibility results and any application you make with a lending partner.
6. Limitation of liability
Once you proceed to a lending partner, that partner’s own terms of service and privacy policy govern your relationship with them. Laalkhata is not responsible for a lending partner’s approval decision, disbursal timeline, service quality, or any dispute arising from your dealings with them. Questions or disputes about a specific loan should be directed to that lending partner in the first instance.
Laalkhata provides the comparison and eligibility-check service on an “as is” basis and, to the extent permitted by law, is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.
7. Referral commission
Laalkhata may earn a referral commission from a lending partner when you complete an application through a link on our platform. This does not change the terms offered to you, and is disclosed in full on our Lending Partner Disclosure page.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Laalkhata’s service evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update. Continued use of Laalkhata after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. For any dispute or grievance relating to Laalkhata itself (not a specific lending partner’s loan), see our Grievance Redressal page.
